The Inheritance Games By Jennifer Lynn Barnes

 Welcome Back! This week I will be reviewing The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I had heard that this book was similar to one of my favorite movies, "Knives Out". This first time I watch the movie, I watched it over so that I could see all the details that I had missed previously. I make it a habit to watch the movie at least once every season. I always dreamed of having a house like the one in Knives Out, with secret passageways and little personal touches. 

 This book was very similar to the story line of "Knives Out'. Avery Grambs is a very intelligent 17 year old who is shocked to learn that she is set to inherit a fortune of one of the riches men in the world, Tobias Hawthorne. The catch? She has to live in the family mansion for a year that also holds the other members of the Hawthorn family. Specifically, Tobias Hawthorns 4 Grandsons, Nash, Grayson, Jameson, and Alexander. 

Doesn't sound that bad right? Until we learn of a potential murder that had happened previously, family members going missing and threats being made to Avery. This book was a non-stop thrill ride that did not disapoint and I look forward to reading the next book. 

Overall, I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars.
